ORAL PAPER PRESENTATIONS
Are 30 minutes including questions
AUDIO VISUAL
Please bring your presentation on a USB. Each room will be equipped with a laptop computer, data projector, screen and lectern.
On arrival at the conference, please check in at the Registration Desk, where you will be directed to the Speakers’ Preparation room to review your presentation and have it pre-loaded by a technician. We ask that all speakers report to the Speakers Preparation Room well before your presentation in order to check your presentation.
MEETING YOUR SESSION CHAIR
It is the presenter’s responsibility to make themselves known to their session chair in advance of when they will be speaking. Chairs have been asked to meet presenters in the presentation room 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time for this purpose.
WORKSHOPS & ROUNDTABLES
A diverse range of workshops are included in the conference program. Delegates will have the opportunity to sign up for individual workshops on arrival. Please visit the Registration Desk where full details will be available.
EXHIBITIONS
Experience an exciting range of ConnectED2010 exhibition submissions located in the Gallery, Red Centre, Faculty of the Built Environment
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Poster submissions will contribute professionally valuable information and will be located in Leighton Hall, Scientia.

BEST PAPER PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded for the Best Papers presented at ConnectED2010 in the following categories:
- Best Paper at ConnectED2010
- Best Poster at ConnectED2010
- Best Paper by a Young Author at ConnectED2010 (up to and including age 26)
All papers on any of the themes related to the Conference will be considered for the “Best Paper at ConnectED2010 Prize”. (Authors who wish to be considered for the “Young Author” Prize must submit proof of age with their submitted paper.) Each Prize will be for $500 and will be accompanied by a Certificate (or Certificates for multiple authors). Judging will be done on the basis of the submitted written papers by a panel based on the Conference Organising Committee. Prize winners will be announced at the Conference Plenary Session on Thursday afternoon, 1 July 2010.
Copyright Assignment
The transfer of copyright from author/s to ConnectED 2010 must be clearly stated to enable ConnectED to publish the submitted work in the Conference Proceedings. Copyright assignment applies to authors wishing to submit: papers for presentation, posters, exhibited work and workshops. Authors are required to indicate their agreement by checking the tick box on the paper submission form. View Copyright Assignment Agreement
